Coming to Reims
By train, plane, car, bus, etc. Find the mode of transport that will get you to the Cité des Sacres most easily.
Coming by train
Take the TGV from Paris and you’ll be in Reims in 45 minutes! The “cité des sacres” is at the crossroads of the Lille – Dijon – Méditerranée and Paris – Charleville – Sedan lines. Reims has two train stations: Reims-Centre, right in the heart of the city center, and Champagne-Ardenne TGV, in Bezannes, linked to Reims by streetcar. More details on the SNCF website.
Once in Reims, the TER takes you on a tour of the Champagne region.
Numerous lines serve the surrounding villages. The Ligne des Bulles linking Reims to Epernay is particularly popular.
Coming by road
Reims is located just 1 hour 30 minutes from Paris via the motorway. Several motorways run near to the Reims conurbation : A4 (Paris-Strasbourg), A2 (Calais-Troyes) and A34 (Reims-Charleville-Mézières).
Please note: part of the city of Reims is located in a Low Emission Zone (ZFE). Apply for the vignette on the official government website.
Park + Ride: there is the option to park in a parking bay situated on the city outskirts so you can use the bus and tram networks to get about. More information on the Citura website.
Arriving by plane
Reims has connections with Paris’ international airports:
- Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport: 30 minutes from Reims by TGV (from the Champagne-Ardenne TGV station) and 1 hour 30 minutes from Reims by car
- Orly Airport: 1 hour 30 minutes from Reims by car
It is also connected to airports in Champagne:
- Paris-Vatry Airport: for business, charter and low-cost flights. Regular shuttles to Reims are reserved for passengers
